Monday Night Football Pick: The Under

This is a game i would stay away from as far as picking a winner.  If i had to choose it would be the Colts as the Jets are just simply lacking in talent in Offense. I do not like the spread at Colts giving up 6 1/2 points.  I would be more comfortable taking the under at 45.  The Jets DO have a pretty good defense especially the Defensive line.   Leonard Williams will be pretty special but they already are loaded.  Add that to a weak Jets offense and i just do not see them going over 45.  I think the score will be around 28-13 and LOVE the under.

NY Giants ahead running Beckham offense

Minus Odell Beckham Jr, the NY Giants offense has looked stale and predictable...Then theres Odell Beckham Jr....WOW, at halftime he raked in 6 catches for 139 yards and a TD.  This includes a 67 yarder TD that really showcased Beckham's superior speed.  At this point no one is hiding it and the Giants are opening running the "BECKHAM OFFENSE".  Why do  you ask?  Because Odell Beckham Jr is darn good.

NFL PICK WEEK 2, PATRIOTS vs BILLS

The Bills Defense is tough and may be the best in the league right now, but the offense is questionable.  Tyrod Taylor had a good week 1 debut but he lacks talent, size, arm strength, and good decision making skills.  The Bills need a strong running game and a lead to win.  They are NOT a come from behind team they can be put away early.  Enter the Patriots a divisional rival that has dominated the AFC East since Brady became their QB.  The Patriots play well on the road and i expect they will have a 2 TD lead going into half time and the defense will score at least 1 of those TDs on a substandard Buffalo Offense.  They should cover -1 without much of a problem!

I know, i know the Bills D looks rock solid but i look to Brady to torch them early.  He is still a top NFL QB Deflategate or not.  Aaron Rodgers has a field day versus a Seattle defense hurting for Kam Chancellor. Drew Brees and Carson Palmer will get positive effects from lackluster offenses on the teams they compete against.  Give them lots of minutes and look for lots of points.  Ryan Tannehill has the bonus of a great set of skilled receivers in Miami, Jacksonville really needed Dante Fowler this year.

NFL BETTING RULE #1 - THE MANNING RULE

After losing my bet last night because of Jamaal Charles fumbles and Peyton Manning last minute heroics I will now bet using "THE MANNING RULE".  From now on I will not bet against Peyton during the regular season ONLY during the playoffs, and I will not beg against Eli during the playoffs only during the regular season.  It seems the Mannings each have their time of year to shine and also their time of year to fail.  Please keep in mind going forward as I believe Vegas certainly will!

Peyton Manning ties game for Broncos, then Jamaal Charles wins game for Broncos!

In a pretty thrilling Thursday night game, the Broncos came from behind to beat the Chiefs 31-24.  With time running low Peyton Manning threw a game tying TD.  The Chiefs get the ball back...Alex Smith takes a 10 yard draw...TIMEOUT....Then....A draw to Charles who promptly fumbles.  The fumble is picked up and taken to the house for the game winning TD.  Still cannot believe it just happened.  The Broncos are just happy to not start the season 0-2 and the Chiefs home crowd is now silent and STUNNED.

Tom Brady supports Donald Trump for president

Today the press spotted a "Make America Great Again" hat in Tom Brady's locker, without hesitation Brady said "It would be great" if Trump was voted in as president. Brady who is no stranger to controversy just could not let football become his main priority now that the season has begun.  Brady and Trump are longtime golfing buddies and must share the same bottle of "CRAZY PILLS" at the point I'm not sure who is worse Trump for running for president or Brady for giving him a vote of confidence?
